Instrument Designer
Typical curettes are just too big to effectively reach the bottom of a periodontal pocket.  The off-set side of the blade can easily tear the subgingival epithelial surface.  Adapting the end one-third of the blade is difficult, if not impossible in some situations.  Trisha designed the O'Hehir Debridement Curettes to provide a scoop, not a scaler blade.  The back is smooth, never causing injury to subgingival tissue.
